Our setup with our credit card merchant means that our name on users credit card statements appears as "WP-Messaging Engine Pty Ltd, Bundoora". We've now made this very clear on the payments screen so hopefully no one will miss this.

At the same time we've made it harder to accidentally click the payment button twice by disabling it after the initial click.
